AI & HEART HEALTH

❤️ Can AI predict heart disease before you ever feel a symptom?
We may be getting closer.
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we look at heart health — and researchers are now training AI to recognize subtle patterns in ECGs/EKGs that may be difficult for the human eye to detect.
That means an ECG — and potentially even data collected from wearable devices like smartwatches — could someday help identify people at increased risk for conditions such as heart failure or structural heart disease before symptoms develop.
Pretty incredible. 🤯
But there’s an important distinction:
AI isn’t replacing your doctor. It’s becoming another tool in the toolbox.
Think of it as an incredibly powerful assistant capable of analyzing massive amounts of cardiovascular data and helping healthcare professionals identify people who may benefit from further evaluation — such as an echocardiogram or consultation with a cardiologist.
And while this technology is exciting, many of these applications are still being researched and validated.
The other thing AI can’t replace?
Your daily habits.
❤️ Know and control your blood pressure
🏋️ Strength train regularly
🚶 Stay physically active
🥗 Prioritize a heart-healthy diet
😴 Protect your sleep
🚭 Don’t smoke
Technology may help us detect disease earlier.
But prevention still starts with what we do every single day.
Follow Hubl Habit for evidence-based heart health, fitness and longevity education designed to help you take control of your health before disease takes control of you.
